PRE-K IN THE PARK IN CONGRESS PARK

Welcome to Apple Blossom Bunch’s Pre-K in the Park. Pre-K in the Park is a small, multi-age pre-school for children 3 to 6 years old at the Saratoga Arts Center, Saratoga Springs, NY. With our central location, children experience all that Saratoga Springs has to offer within walking distance.

Our philosophy is simple. We provide a healthy and balanced education for children. This includes art education, nature based experiential learning, academic education, hands on learning through field trips weekly, social emotional education with a foundation in empathy and of course, free play.

Our Location: The Saratoga Arts Center and Congress Park

The Saratoga Arts Center is the perfect “home base” for our pre-school. Art education is the foundation of our work with children. The Arts Center gives the children the opportunity to learn together as a group experiencing the world, nature, and their town. The Saratoga Arts Center is located at 320 Broadway. With Congress Park as a perfect location for our nature-based program. Let's Adventure!

OUR PHILOSOPHY AT PRE-K IN THE PARK

We believes that learning is simple. It takes a little excitement, a bit of listening skills, and the space to take it in and process. At our pre-school we create an environment where children are encouraged to learn through doing through play, daily life tasks, nature exploration, crafting art and through experiences in our community on our visits out into the world together as a group. We go on field trips weekly.

Our environment is rich with opportunities to ask questions, explore and discover. We have time to learn and live into our life in pre-K. Our rhythm is designed by childhood itself, exactly what a pre-school child needs.

Our curriculum was designed by our founder Heather Stewart. The curriculum is influenced by many wonderful leaders in the field of education. To learn more fill out our enrollment information form on the main page and request the curriculum overview for new parents. This will share a little more detail with you about the foundations of our curriculum.

2021-2022: Due to the Covid pandemic We have a strict no field trips policy, however we do visit the Park and outdoor spaces that are safe with appropriate safety precautions always taken. Field trips will resume in time.
