For our school menu we focus on fresh, locally grown, and organic foods. We serve “real food” at Pre-K in the Park. We serve as little processed food as possible. About 80% of our food is organic. We focus on fruit, vegetables, and whole grains.

We know the big agro businesses that take advantage of our organic standards here in America and find the loop holes.We know who not to trust. This is why we spend time finding the best companies and smaller farms to buy from. At Pre-K we strive to make the connection between the farm and what is at our table. We serve Battenkill Valley Farm Milk daily. This milk was voted best milk in New York State 2016. We serve Grassfed Cow’s Milk Yogurt and Organic Cheese.
Our lunches are delivered daily from Four Season’s Natural Food Store/ Cafe, right here in town. Four Season’s head chef is very much in agreement with the idea of real food verse processed food and offers a wonderful weekly rotation of hearty soups, seasonal vegetables and seasonal fruits. Pizza Day is Friday and the children prefer pizza from Esperantos. We feel comfortable with this choice but it is not organic. We serve bottled water at Pre-K.
